As you will no doubt be aware we are, like a lot of other youth organisations, struggling financially during the current crisis and have for example just had confirmation that we need to find £56 per child to pay our capitation fees to the Scout Association by the 23rd April. As a group this equates to around some £2,240 that we need to find. Whilst we have been kindly requesting that parents please continue to pay sub’s if at all possible during this time, we have still lost out on our usual fundraising opportunities that allow us to top up our funds.
This fun event will help us plug the funding gap whilst at the same time allowing all Beavers, Cub's and Scout's to take part in something they can all do whilst in lockdown. To add to the enjoyment, we will be doing this all "live" via Zoom so that we can all share how people are getting on as thy progress towards their targets.

Time: 13:45 for a 14:00 start

The event will take place Saturday, 13th February, and will start with a full briefing on Zoom at 1.45pm, with the climb itself starting at approx 2pm. This will be a "live" event with participants able to update the leaders as they progress and see how others are doing as the group climbs the equivalent of the world's tallest buildings. There will be a couple of breaks during the hour of climbing to get your breath back, with the overall event expected to take approx 1.5 hours in total.
