From the 10th June we will be moving our Thursday meetings to Tedbury Campsite.
Beavers: 17:30-18:30
Cubs: 18:30-20:00
Scout: 19:00-21:00
Directions to the campsite can be seen in the attached photo. As mentioned on the map, as you come up the hill having crossed the railway, the gate is on the right hand side just before the top of the hill.
Find your way down the track until you eventually see the toilet block on your right and opposite this is the main arena. Please go onto the grass area and park around the side of the arena. Please do not park in the entrance to the arena as this will prevent others being able to get through and park (some parents always do!!).
Uniform is not required to be worn at Tedbury. Please though ensure that your child is dressed appropriately for outdoor activities. Sturdy trainers and shoes are fine if it is warm and dry, but if it is wet walking boots or wellingtons will be required. Similarly if it is wet, then appropriate waterproofs will be required.
If parents wish to wait whilst their children are in their meetings they can do, but please keep to the track and footpaths if going off for a walk (there are some nice walks down to the river). Please though do not walk through the camp sites where are own and possibly other group meetings are taking place,
